Stamford Ranked High in Latest Girls Basketball Poll
The Black Knights opened the season with five straight victories.

STAMFORD, CT — Capital Prep retained its stronghold on girls high school basketball in Connecticut, topping the weekly sportswriters' poll once again.
The Trailblazers, who have not lost an in-state regular season game since Dec. 15, 2011, opened this season with four straight victories.
Stamford moved up to the number three spot, opening with five consecutive wins.
