Beach season will begin soon in Stamford. Check out opening days and hours
STAMFORD, CT — With warm weather here to stay and Memorial Day on the horizon, Stamford Recreation has announced summer 2023 public beach information.
City of Stamford beaches
Cove Island, Cummings and West Beach
Open on weekends, from Memorial Day Weekend (May 27-29), through Labor Day Weekend (Sept. 3-5).

Open on weekdays, from Monday, June 19, through Monday, Sept. 4.
Lifeguard Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

No lifeguards on duty

Heroy Pool
Open weekends, from Saturday, June 17, through Sunday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Open weekdays, from Monday, June 26, through Friday, Aug. 11, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Tram at Cove Island
Open weekends, from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
Open weekdays, from Wednesday, June 19, through Monday, Sept. 4.
Tram Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
