STAMFORD, CT — The city of Stamford has released its schedule for recycling and sanitation in 2023.

Feb. 20 - Presidents Day

  • Household garbage and recycling will be collected on schedule.
  • Transfer Station/ Katrina Mygatt Recycling Center are closed.

April 7 - Good Friday

May 29 - Memorial Day

  • Household garbage and recycling will be collected on schedule.

June 19 – Juneteenth

Nov. 10 - Veteran's Day

  • Household garbage and recycling will be collected on schedule.
  • Transfer Station/ Katrina Mygatt Recycling Center are closed.

Nov. 23 - Thanksgiving Day

  • No household garbage and recycling collection: delayed 1 day to Friday
  • Transfer Station/Katrina Mygatt Recycling Center closed.

Nov. 24 - Friday after Thanksgiving

  • Household garbage and recycling collection delayed 1 day to Saturday.
  • Transfer Station/Katrina Mygatt Recycling Center open regular hours.

Dec. 23:
Scale House/ Katrina Mygatt Recycling Center Closed.

Dec. 25 – Christmas Day

  • No household garbage and recycling collection: delayed 1 day all week.
  • Transfer Station/ Katrina Mygatt Recycling Center will be closed.

Jan. 1, 2024 - New Year’s Day

  • No household garbage and recycling collection: delayed 1 day all week.
  • Transfer Station/Katrina Mygatt Recycling Center will be closed.
