Stamford Resident Named To CT '40 Under 40' List
Anthony McDonald of Stamford made Connecticut Magazine's annual list of young leaders in the state.

STAMFORD, CT — Anthony McDonald, a 33-year-old Stamford resident, was recently named to Connecticut Magazine's "40 Under 40" list.
The list highlights up-and-comers, and the future of the state of Connecticut. Honorees were nominated by fans, friends, family, coworkers and Connecticut Magazine staff.
McDonald is the vice president and executive director of the 107-year-old Shubert Theatre in New Haven; he was appointed to the position in March 2021. McDonald previously worked at Minskoff Theatre and Gershwin Theatre in New York City, Connecticut Magazine said.

McDonald is tasked with leading the Shubert into a new era, Connecticut Magazine noted, by "providing professional and institutional guidance to the Shubert staff for advancing social and racial justice in collaboration with other members of the arts community."
