Stamford Resident Takes Home Big Prize From Mega Millions: CT Lottery

STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident recently won a big prize thanks to some luck and the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $10,000 after playing Mega Millions.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Shell gas station located at 38 W. Broad St.

Mega Millions is a multi-state game, the CT Lottery website says. The minimum jackpot is $20 million. Jackpot increases for each game are determined based on sales in the current environment.

Mega Millions costs $2 per wager.
