
STAMFORD ,CT — A Stamford man was charged with stealing checks worth $34,000 from Six Thirteen restaurant where he worked, according to police.
The restaurant manager noticed a dip in receipts and discovered checks were written to George Moschos, 45, that weren't part of his salary, according to the Stamford Advocate.
The checks were determined to be forged and Moschos was charged with second-degree larceny and 53 counts of forgery.
