SBP fellows receive professional development in four areas: good governance, racial equity, personal leadership, and self care. Participants are also paired with an experienced mentor who provides guidance and shares first-hand knowledge of student-centered policies used in their own districts.

"School boards have the power to create transformational change for students and families," said SBP CEO Ethan Ashley in a news release. "This fellowship equips them with the tools, mentorship, and community they need to lead with student-centered impact."
