Stamford Schools Cancel Saturday Activities Ahead Of Snow

STAMFORD, CT — Due to snow in the forecast, the Stamford Public Schools District has canceled all activities scheduled for Saturday.

The forecast for Fairfield County has fluctuated all week between low snow totals and high amounts with blizzard conditions.

As of Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service, total snow accumulations of 6 to 9 inches are expected. Winds will gist as high as 45 mph, and near blizzard conditions are possible for a period on Saturday.

The city of Stamford has canceled vaccination clinics on Saturday.
