Stamford Schools Seek Feedback On Facilities Master Plan
The district will hold several informational meetings in the coming weeks.

STAMFORD, CT — Earlier this month, a facilities master plan was presented to the Stamford Public Schools District by SLAM, an architecture firm.
The plan laid out several major projects over the next decade, including maintenance work and upgrades to all school buildings in the district, plus the closing of four schools. The plan also suggested the construction of a new south Stamford School.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tamu Lucero said after the presentation that details within the plan were only recommendations, and that there would be plenty of time for the public to weigh-in.
