Trinity Catholic held on to the No. 4 ranking in the latest New Haven Register state media boys basketball top 10 poll.

Defending Class LL state champion St. Joseph, which had been No. 2, has taken over the top spot.

Hillhouse jumped eight spots to No. 2 after ending New London's 28-game winning streak last week. The Whalers, who had been No. 1, dropped five spots to No. 6.

The boys basketball team will face Class L state champion New London and New York City powerhouse Archbishop Malloy in the 25th annual Northeast Basketball Classic at Bridgeport's Webster Bank Arena.

The Crusaders will take on New London on Tuesday at 6 p.m., then face Archbishop Malloy and legendary coach Jack Curran on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
