High-scoring freshman Jess Laszlo was among three Westhill players who were named to the all-FCIAC girls soccer first team. Also honored fron the Vikings were Nicole Eriksen and CC Bingham.
Goaltender Allie Souza and Heidi Druehl were chosen for the second team, giving Westhill five total players on the FCIAC teams.

The three first-team selections tied Fairfield Warde, St. Joseph and New Canaan for the most in the league.
Westhill's run at a third straight appearance in the Class LL state championship game came up short as the Vikings were upset by Staples in the quarterfinals. The Vikings finished the season with a 13-3-4 record.

Stamford's Lauren Shapiro also was named to the first team.
