The boys basketball team looks to end the first half of the season on a high note Thursday when the Black Knights visit Fairfield Ludlowe in a 7 p.m. tipoff.
After starting 2-5, Stamford has won its last two games to improve to 4-5. The Black Knights are coming off Tuesday's 60-45 victory over Wilton in which Barry Boderick scored 25 points.

Stamford only led 24-21 at the half, but took control by outscoring the Warriors 22-8 in the third quarter.
Fairfield Ludlowe (2-7) has been off since suffering a 60-51 loss to Norwalk on Jan. 12.

On the girls slide, Stamford hosts Fairfield Ludlowe (5:30) looking to snap a three-game losing streak.
The Black Knights are coming off Tuesday's 49-40 loss at Wilton. After starting 5-0, Stamford has dropped five of six to fall to 6-5.
Fairfield Ludlowe has lost two in a row, including a 44-38 setback to Norwalk in their last game on Jan. 12, to fall to 5-6.

Bill Vizzo scored two goals Wednesday, leading the Notre Dame of West Haven boys hockey team to a 6-2 victory over Trinity Catholic.
Colby Cretella added a goal and an assist for the third-ranked Green Knights, who improved to 10-2.
Sean Dolan registered a goal and an assists for the Crusaders, who dropped to 2-8.
