Lukas Znosko scored all three goals Thursday as the boys hockey team earned its first win of the season with a 3-2 victory over town rival Stamford at the Terry Conners Rink.

Westhill improved 1-8-1 while Stamford dropped to 2-8-1.

Sal DiPreta and Zach Fornaciari scored for the Black Knights, but Znosko completed his hat trick in the third period to break a 2-2 tie.

Hunter Alderman made 32 saves for Stamford while Adam Goldstone stopped 26 shots for Westhill.

The FCIAC Eastern Division indoor track and field championships takes place Friday at Wilton's Zeoli Field House.

Participating teams are St. Joseph, Wilton, Trinity Catholic, Darien, New Canaan, Fairfield Warde and Bassick.

The FCIAC Western Division indoor track and field championships take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Staples.

Participating teams are Danbury, Trumbull, Staples, Westhill, Greenwich and Bridgeport Central.

The Central Division championship takes place on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wilton.

Participating teams are Stamford, Norwalk, Fairfield Ludlowe, Ridgefield, McMahon and Harding.

The Westhill wrestling team defeated McMahon 59-21 on Wednesday. The Vikings improved to 15-6 while McMahon dropped to 1-9.
