A preseason FCIAC favorite along with St. Joseph, Trinity Catholic stumbled early in the season, but the Crusaders are coming off a major statement win, having handed Ridgefield its first loss of the season with a 48-44 victory on Tuesday.
At 9-3, the Crusaders are rolling again and figure to have no trouble with the Senators (1-11), who are enduring a miserable season.

Stamford (5-6) was roughed up in Tuesday's 86-65 loss to Westhill and has another tough test against the Hatters (8-3), who snapped a three-game losing streak with a 68-56 victory over Darien on Tuesday.
Westhill, looking more and more like a playoff team with Chris Walters in the lineup, is coming off its best effort of the season against the Black Knights. Walters led the way with 26 points for the Vikings, who improved to 7-4.
However, Westhill visits the league's most surprising team in Greenwich. The Cardinals dropped to 9-3 following Tuesday's 61-45 loss at Bridgeport Central, but they are 6-0 at home.
Friday's clash is battle for first place in the FCIAC West. Greenwich and Central share the top spot with Westhill, which had to forfeit a win over Bassick earlier in the season, just a one-half game back.
In girls action, Trinity Catholic visits McMahon (5:30 p.m.), Stamford is at undefeated Danbury (5:45 p.m.) and Westhill entertains Greenwich (5:45 p.m.).
All three Stamford teams currently hold FCIAC playof spots.
Stamford (7-6, 7-4) is tied with Westhill (8-5, 7-4) and Staples (8-5, 7-4) for fifth place with Trinity Catholic (8-6, 7-5) just one-half game behind in eighth.
Westhill defeated Stamford 47-39 on Tuesday while Trinity Catholic posted a 64-52 victory over Ridgefield.
