The Class LL softball state championship game between Westhill and Conard, scheduled for Saturday, was postponed until Monday. It will now be played at West Haven at 7 p.m.
The Vikings (23-1) are seeking their second consecutive state championship and third overall.

Westhill advanced to the final with an 8-2 win over Bristol Central while Conard defeated Fairfield Warde 10-2 in the semifinals.
-- Westhill's John Petrini and Brandon Pomerance have reached the final of the state Open doubles tennis championship after winning two matches on Sunday at Hamden.

Petrini and Pomerance defeated Old Saybook's Andrew DeAntonis and Jack Rothman 6-0, 6-0 in the quarterfinals, then ousted New Canaan's William Burger and Thomas Worcester 6-0, 0-6, 6-3 in the semifinals.
The Westhill duo will take on Fairfield Ludlowe's Daniel Adajian and Reid Andren in the finals, which is set for Wednesday at Hamden at 3:30 p.m.
-- Westhill's Zach Emilcer, Trinity Catholic's Mike Rivas and Stamford's Mark Robinson have been named to the Fairfield County All-Star team that will face the New Haven County All-Stars in the annual football Hall of Fame Classic.
The game is set for July 8 at West Haven's Ken Strong Stadium. Tickets cost $7 each and are available at the gate.

-- Westhill's Dillon Smith finished eighth in the 100 meters at the New England track and field championships on Saturday in Burlington, Vermont with a time of 11.33.
-- Westhill's John Petrini and Brandon Pomerance will face Old Saybrook's Andrew DeAntonis and Jack Rothman in the quarterfinals of the state tennis Open doubles on Saturday at Hamden.
Petrini and Pomerance won the Class LL doubles title over Staples' Jake Hirschberg and Graham Hyman, who are not entered in the state Open.
