Westhill 13, Pomperaug 1 (5) (Class LL, second round) --  Cassandra Kish had three hits and three RBI for the top-seeded Vikings (21-10, who were playing their first game since getting stunned by Fairfield Ludlowe 1-0 in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
Macari yielded just three hits and also had an RBI single for Westhill, which hosts Amity in the quarterfinals on Friday.
