-- Stamford's Luis Briddter will play in the 36th annual Connecticut High School Coaches Association Senior All-Star Festival set for March 24 at Maloney High School in Meriden. The Class S vs. M game tips off at 6:15 p.m., followed by the Class L vs. LL contest at 8 p.m. Forty-eight players were chosen to play in the games, two in each division. Stamford's season ended Wednesday with a 52-50 loss at St. Joseph in the second round of the CIAC Class LL state tournament.
- Westhill, which defeated No. 6 Hillhouse 75-72 in the second round of the Class LL tourney, will play at home in the quarterfinals against No. 14 Glastonbury, which upset No. 3 Hartford Public on Wednesday. Trinity Catholic faces its third straight road game when it plays at Bethel in the quarterfinals of the Class M tournament on Friday.

-- Westhill/Stamford freshman Sean Burston finished third in the Class LL diving championships on Thursday with a score of 418.80. The following Westhill-Stamford swimmers have qualified for the Class LL championships, which begin Saturday at Hamden (qualifying times in parenthesis):
