TUESDAY'S RESULTS

Softball

Fairfield Ludlowe 1, Westhill 0  (FCIAC quarterfinals) -- Aliza Guerrero tossed a three-hitter as the eighth-seeded Falcons stunned No. 1 Westhill, which was 20-0 in the regular season. Ludlowe scored the game's only run on Emily Nelson's two-out RBI single in the top of the first inning.

Stamford 9, St. Joseph 2 (FCIAC quarterfinals) -- The Black Knights pulled away from a 2-1 game with two runs in the fifth inning and four in the sixth. Stamford scored three runs on squeeze bunts.
