Tickets for the seventh annual SportsNight awards dinner are still available. SportsNight is Monday, Oct 17 at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich at 6 p.m.
The six new members of the Fairfield County Sports Hall of Fame will be inducted that evening. The 2011 honorees are: John Bagley (Bridgeport), Bennett Salvatore (Stamford), Joe DeSantis (Fairfield), Ceci Hopp St. Geme (Greenwich), Charlie Bentley (Bridgeport) and the late Albie Loeffler (Westport).

The Stamford Old Timers will stage their 69th annual Dinner on Monday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at The Italian Center, 1620 Newfield Ave, Stamford.

Proceeds help fund scholarships that are given each year to needy and deserving local scholar athletes and provides sponsorship to area Sports Teams
This year's honorees are Jerry Esposito, Robert (Spider) Hayes, Joe Mancini, Sal Manforte, Frank Noto, Lou Persiani and Jack Slavinsky.
