Stamford, State Welcomes Cybersecurity Firm BlackStratus to City

The company recently opened offices in Stamford and moved several employees from New Jersey to Connecticut.

Stamford, CT - BlackStratus, a cybersecurity firm headquartered in New Jersey, was officially welcomed to Stamford this week by city and state officials, including Gov. Dannel Malloy, formerly the mayor of Stamford.

The company recently opened offices on West Broad Street in Stamford to house members of its sales, support and marketing staff, reports the Stamford Advocate.

The employees, a total of 23 of them, are working on the company's new CyberShark security product.

BlackStratus received a $5 million state grant to help with its move and expansion, and Dale Cline, the company's CEO, told the Advocate that the company is excited to be a part of Connecticut's "thriving" technology community.
