Stamford Students Rescued By Boat From Flooded Bus: VIDEO
Firefighters were making "dozens of water rescues" in Tuesday flood.

STAMFORD, CT — Several streets throughout Stamford were flooded Tuesday as torrential rains pelted the region, which required some students to need rescuing by boat from their flooded bus.
Firefighters were "actively making dozens of water rescues" of motorists stranded in rising water, and the department urged residents to stay off the roads.
Students getting out of school on Dale Street and Cove Road had to be rescued by boat in order to get home, according to a Twitter posts from @IAmTwoWheeler.
