Stamford Teen Offered Plea Deal in Fatal Stabbing Case

The stabbing was over a spilled cup of coffee, police said.

STAMFORD, CT- A teen accused of stabbing a man to death outside of the Bedford Street McDonald's has been offered a plea deal.

Marquest Hall, 16, will accept or reject the offer on June 29, according to the Stamford Advocate. If he doesn't accept then the case will head to trial. He is being tried as an adult.

The March 2015 stabbing left Antonio Muralles, 52, dead. He was stabbed in the heart. The stabbing was reportedly over a spilled cup of coffee, police said.

Muralles was found bleeding on the sidewalk by Stamford firefighters who were responding to an unrelated call around 8:17 p.m on March 11. He died several hours later at Stamford Hospital.

Hall is one of three suspects arrested in connection with Stamford’s first murder of 2015.
