STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident is now $25,000 richer thanks to some luck and the Connecticut Lottery.
The resident won the large cash prize after playing the Electric 7s 2nd Edition scratch-off game.

According to the CT Lottery, there are nearly 1.7 million tickets of the game, and just seven $25,000 winners. The grand prize is $177,777.
The scratch-off ticket was purchased at Park View Variety, located at 233 Main St. in Stamford.
