STAMFORD WEATHER UPDATE: Heavy Rain, Fog and Wind in the Forecast

After Monday's rain, the weather will improve for the rest of the week, but it will feel chilly.

After a glorious weekend of weather, which brought bright sunshine both days, and 70 degrees on Saturday, it’s back to reality today.

We’ll be dealing with heavy rain and fog for most of Monday and Monday night. Winds will be gusty between 25-30 mph for most of the day.

With the winds, the NWS issued a hazardous weather outlook through 2 p.m. Wednesday with localized minor coastal flooding along the western end of Long Island Sound. Tides are expected to be up to a foot above the astronomical tides.
