Stamford Woman Accused Of Leaving Accident Scene In Greenwich: PD
Police said the driver was charged with driving while intoxicated and three counts of risk of injury to a child.
GREENWICH, CT — A Stamford woman is accused of leaving the scene of an accident in Cos Cob on Saturday. According to an arrest report, officers responded to Valley Road after receiving a report of a car accident in the area.
When officers arrived, they found a vehicle with no driver in sight, police said. Officers checked the nearby area and eventually located the driver, 30-year-old Nina Castellana, who had left the scene of the accident with three children, police said.
According to police, the accused was subsequently administered field sobriety tests, which she did not perform to standard. She was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility, operating a motor vehicle without a license and three counts of risk of injury to a child.
