Stamford Woman Injured When Concrete Crashes Through Car Windshield
The woman may lose the sight in one eye.

A Stamford woman is waiting to learn whether she has lost the sight in her right eye after she was injured when a chuck of concrete crashed through the windshield of her car as she and her husband drove on I-95 last weekend.
Myra Flores was sitting in the passenger’s seat of her husband’s car as the couple was northbound on I-95 in Larchmont, NY on Saturday. Flores, a nursing school student and mother of three, told NBC Connecticut that shards of glass and pieces gravel shredded her eye when the concrete dropped from an overpass and through the windshield.
Flores told NBC that she has 15 stitches to keep her eye closed so it can heal and that she has put her education plans on hold.
