The Academy of Information Technology & Engineering was named to the 2025 Advanced Placement Program School Honor Roll.
STAMFORD, CT — The College Board has named the Academy of Information Technology and Engineering to the 2025 Advanced Placement Program School Honor Roll, awarding the Stamford magnet high school a Silver distinction for its AP participation and performance, according to an announcement from Stamford Public Schools.
The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs deliver academic results while expanding access to college-level coursework. Schools earn the designation annually based on measures tied to college readiness, participation and success on AP exams.
At AITE for 2025, 61 percent of the school’s 141 seniors took at least one AP exam during high school, 43 percent earned a score of 3 or higher on at least one exam, and 15 percent took five or more AP exams, SPS said.
