Stamford's Ferguson Library Temporarily Closes Tuesday

The downtown facility is struggling under the heat. Stamford's other libraries are open.

STAMFORD, CT — Limited air conditioning in the face of a heat wave has forced the temporary closure of Stamford's Ferguson Library on Tuesday, July 3, according to a post on the library's Twitter page. The facility will close at 2 p.m.

"We hope to have it fixed early next week," officials wrote. "The Harry Bennett, Weed and South End branches are open today."

The downtown library closed at 2 p.m. on Monday, also, due to the heat.
