Stamford's SoundWaters To Host First-Ever 'Super Splash'

Gather your friends and kick off Super Bowl Sunday with a big splash for a great cause.

STAMFORD, CT — On Sunday, Feb. 11, hundreds of people of all ages will jump into the cold waters of Long Island Sound to be part of SoundWaters's first-ever "Super Splash" and help raise awareness about the impact of climate change.

The event will take place at East Beach in Stamford’s Cove Island Park at noon. Following the quick dip, participants can wrap themselves in towels and warm up with some donuts and hot cocoa on the beach.

Registration is $30 for adults and $20 for those 18 and under. All money raised will support SoundWaters's climate science education efforts, which will reach thousands of area students in 2024.
