State Police: Stamford Man Charged With Assault for Punching Bouncer at Ellington Pub

ELLINGTON, CT — A Stamford man has been charged with assault for punching a bouncer at an Ellington pub last week.

Steven Houser, 26, of Stamford, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Thursday, state police said.

On Thursday at 9:50 p.m., Houser punched a bouncer at The Hidden Still on Route 83 and then fled from the establishment, according to a police report. He was then spotted on Orchard street and arrested a short time later, state police said.
