Stormy Night

Last night my 3 animal charges were terrified again of the storm. As a treat, the invisible fence collars were removed and the two Australian Shepherds and a tawny haired cat all came up to my room and shared the king size bed. The bed shook as if I had dropped a quarter in to make the bed vibrate. Every lightening bolt and thunder clap pushed the furry children closer to my side. I only have two hands to comfort three animals but I tried my best. They stayed all night snuggled together on the lifeboat that was my bed. This morning we are all a little tired but we made it through the night. Despite the gloomy weather outside, serenity reigns the house. Aaaaahhhhhh.
