Super Bowl Shooting Leads to Eviction Notice for Stamford Resident

The woman is fighting to keep her apartment in the building.

STAMFORD, CT —A resident of high-end 111 Harbor Point may be losing her apartment following a shootout that occurred outside after a Super Bowl party.

The Feb. 5 incident occurred after a woman hosted a party for more than 50 people in an event space at the building, according to the Stamford Advocate. An apparent argument over the game led to the shooting, police said.

She was served a pre-eviction notice that asked for payment for damages, but didn't include a list of damages or costs, her attorney said. She lives in a below-market rate unit.
