Teen Shot in the Eye; Stamford Police Seek Teen Suspect
One teen was caught; a second remains at large.
Stamford Police have arrested one teen and are seeking another after a 14-year-old boy was shot in the eye at point-blank range with a BB gun.
The Tuesday afternoon incident happened at Hatch Field Park splash pad on Fairfield Avenue, according to The Advocate. Tuesday with dozens of other kids around trying to keep cool during the warm afternoon, police said.
Police said the shooter was wearing a probation ankle bracelet and that the victim miraculously blinked when he was shot, minimizing permanent damage to the eye.
