Teens Slash, Rob Man on Stamford's West Side

The quartet of assailants demanded a dollar from the victim.

Three Stamford teens are in custody after their arrests on charges they used a box cutter to slash and rob a man on Spruce Street early Tuesday.

A 32-year-old man told Stamford Police he was waiting in front of a house for his girlfriend just after midnight when the teens approached, asking for a dollar, according to The Advocate. He was attacked after he told them he didn’t have any money.

Three of the four teens were caught a short time later by patrol officers and identified by the victim as his assailants, and two of the teens were wearing ankle monitors, according to the report.

The victim was treated at Stamford Hospital for a deep gash to the palm of one of his hands.
