Temporary Road Closures Scheduled For Stamford Road Race: Police
The annual Boys and Girls Club Corporate Road Race is set for this evening, May 23.

STAMFORD, CT — Several roads in Stamford's South End will be closed temporarily this evening, May 23, for the annual Boys and Girls Club Corporate Road Race, according to Stamford police.
The closures for the 5K race are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and last until 8:30 p.m., wrote Stamford police on the department's Facebook page.
The route is as follows: Start at Washington Blvd and head North on Atlantic St. Right onto Henry St. Right onto Cedar St. Right onto Ludlow St. Left onto So Pacific St. Right onto Walter Wheeler. Left onto Atlantic St which turns into Washington Blvd(North Lane). Left into So Pacific St. Right onto Remington St. Right onto Elmcroft. Left into Kosciuszko (Dyke) park and make a loop. Make a slight left onto Dyke La and left onto Pacific St. Left onto Harbor Point Rd and make loop to the finish line at the Boardwalk.

Stamford Police Dept. advises the South End area of town will be the immediate area of the Boys & Girls Club 5K Road Race this evening. The area south of The Metro North Transportation Center will have road closures & heavy delays from 6:30-8:30pm.
