Tony Winner To Headline Christmas Tree Lighting In Stamford
The annual holiday tradition, now in its eighth year, will feature seasonal music, craft cocktails and a performance by a Tony award winner.
STAMFORD, CT — Building and Land Technology (BLT) will officially kick off the holiday season at Harbor Point with their annual tree lighting Dec. 4 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., featuring a performance by Tony award-winning Broadway star Gavin Creel.
Creel is known for his performances in "The Book of Mormon," "Mary Poppins" and "Hello, Dolly!," the latter of which earned him a Tony award in 2017.
Creel is also the co-founder of Broadway Impact, a grassroots organization aimed at mobilizing the nationwide theater community in support of marriage equality, according to a statement.

"We are delighted to have Gavin join us for a special Harbor Point tradition that brings our community together to jumpstart this festive season," BLT Chairman Carl R. Kuehner III said in a statement. "We invite all to join us while we enjoy the holiday classics and gather together as friends and family to celebrate the holidays at Harbor Point."
This highly anticipated event and performance will take place in Harbor Point Square, located near a number of Harbor Point restaurants, including Bareburger, Mexicue, Patisserie Salzburg, Sign of the Whale and Fortina.

Also joining the festivities will be Lifted Spirits Bar Concierge, a mobile bar service for those interested in enjoying seasonal craft cocktails.
Complimentary parking will be available in the 2200 Atlantic and 100 Washington Boulevard parking garages. A rain date has also been scheduled for the following evening.
