Uconn Stamford Closed Thursday

The university is closed on Thursday after historic rainfall and flooding impacted the area overnight.

STAMFORD, CT — UConn Stamford will be closed Thursday, Sept. 2, due to travel difficulties in the region caused by the heavy overnight rains, according to an announcement from the university.

All online classes will be held as scheduled, and employees telecommuting due to COVID-19 should work as normal.

All other UConn campuses are following their normal schedules for classes and work, and the University hasn’t experienced any significant flooding or water damage issues at any of its locations.
