The Village Announces Full Capacity In Stamford
The Village is a premium waterfront campus in Stamford's South End designed to serve the needs of entrepreneurs and creators.

STAMFORD, CT — The Village announced this week that MillerKnoll, a collective of dynamic brands comprising one of the largest and most influential modern design companies in the world, has joined its tenant community.
According to a news release, new additions to the tenant lineup also include Connecticut Innovations, TSG Consumer Partners and other notable names, bringing The Village to full occupancy and completing a roster that includes Wheelhouse, ITV America, Cisco Brewers, and The Wheel restaurant.
"We feel lucky to be part of such an incredible community here, and are excited for all that’s ahead as the building starts to open its office doors," The Village Founder and Wheelhouse CEO Brent Montgomery said in a news release. "When you bring together great people from different paths to collaborate, the sky is the limit.”

The company will take up a 25,000 square-foot space at the The Village, which will serve as MillerKnoll's new headquarters for its global retail business, supporting brands such as Herman Miller, Knoll, Design Within Reach, HAY, Fully and Muuto, the news release said.
"We are looking forward to relocating to a space that will provide us with opportunities for continued growth and collaboration," said Debbie Propst, President of Global Retail for MillerKnoll, in a news release. "Stamford has been home to our retail group for many years, and when evaluating the current and future needs of our evolving business, The Village’s location, suite of offerings and tenant mix made for an ideal home for the company."
Commercial real estate advisory firm Newmark, led by Executive Vice President James Ritman, acted as the building’s exclusive leasing agent.
"Brent and Courtney Montgomery and their team at Wheelhouse are true visionaries for the region as they were able to rehabilitate an underutilized asset to create something reminiscent of space one would find in the Meatpacking District or SoHo," Ritman in a news release.
"Their vision has paid off as the property quickly leased up during the pandemic. That momentum illustrates the unique features of The Village and the desire for top-rated area firms to locate near other synergistic tenants in a high-quality and unique space."
The Village opened earlier this year, and helps to serve the needs of entrepreneurs and creators in realms like art, entertainment, tech, music, health, fitness, food, finance, the digital/influencer worlds and more.
With approximately 133,000 square feet and nearly 1,000 feet of walkable marina, The Village fuses modern office space and unique private event venues with world-class food and beverage offerings.
The large-scale, work/play environment also encompasses one of Connecticut’s first LEED v4 commercial buildings, making it an outstandingly energy efficient commercial building.
Other new tenants at The Village include:
● Private equity firm Avesi Partners
● Investment firm Jadian Capital
● Investment firm MYCOR Capital
● Staffing company Insight Global
