The Community is Invited to the Virtual 50th Anniversary Celebration of the South End Branch of The Ferguson Library on Saturday, October 3 at 11:30 a.m. via Zoom Webinar.
The keynote speaker is Jerry Craft, the New York Times bestselling and Newbery Medal-winning author of the graphic novel, New Kid. New Kid is also the winner of the Coretta Scott King Author Award and the Kirkus Prize for Young Readers' Literature. His second graphic novel, Class Act, publishes on October 6.
New Kid book giveaways, limited edition 50th Anniversary library cards, a visual retrospective of the South End Branch and more.
