Stamford Water Main Break Restored: Aquarion
Aquarion Water Company announced the restoration late Thursday night.

STAMFORD, CT — The water main break that closed a portion of Broad Street in downtown Stamford for most of Thursday was restored late Thursday night, according to an update from Aquarion Water Company.
Over 100 customers were affected by the incident, Aquarion's website showed Thursday morning, with Broad Street and Suburban Avenue listed as impacted streets.
The incident caused heavy traffic delays in the area Thursday morning. Eastbound at Broad Street was shut down.

"During and after the outage event, some customers may experience discolored water. You may want to use stored water for drinking and cooking, and delay clothes washing until water is clear," Aquarion says on its website. "Run your cold water faucet until the water appears clear, prior to resuming use for these purposes."
