STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident recently hit it big thanks to some luck and the Connecticut Lottery.
According to the CT Lottery, a Stamford resident won $10,000 after playing the $100,000 Cashword 12 scatch-off game.

The ticket cost $10, and the grand prize is $100,000. The CT Lottery website says there are just 82 $10,000 winners out of 5.1 million tickets.
The ticket was purchased at the West Broad BP gas station located at 59 W. Broad St., in Stamford.
