WWE Names New Chief Financial Officer
Former Etsy Chief Financial Officer Kristina Salen had been appointed as CFO of the Stamford-based WWE.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford-based World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announced this week that Kristina Salen, a former chief financial officer at Etsy, has been named as the wrestling entertainment company's new CFO.
She is scheduled to start the position Aug. 3 and will report directly to WWE CEO Vince McMahon, the company said in a statement. (To sign up for Stamford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Salen served as the first CFO of Etsy, where she grew the business from $895 million in gross sales to $3 billion in four years and led the company's IPO offering, among other responsibilities, the company said.

Salen also held CFO and Chief Operating Officer roles with Moda Operandi and Translation Enterprises/United Masters. She also managed global media and telecom funds with Fidelity Investments.
Earlier in her career, Salen served in financial analyst positions with Oppenheimer Capital, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Lazard Freres & Co. She also sits on the board of directors and audit committee for both SiriusXM and Cornerstone OnDemand.
