A Child's Garden Montessori School turns 30!

How many independent, local pre-school and Kindergarten programs have had 30 years in your community? Undoubtedly, not many.

Our success of longevity comes from the community that we serve.  At A Child’s Garden Montessori School the majority of our students come to us by “word of mouth”.   Whether it was a family member, a friend, a neighbor or acquaintance in the community, most families seem to find us after hearing about the great experiences that were had at “ACG”.

Because our focus within the Montessori theory is to appreciate each child as an independent learner, we treat our families the same; as unique individuals coming to us with many different experiences and therefore many different needs.  For this reason, we try to be as flexible as possible, while still offering a consistent and nurturing environment where our families feel a sense of unity.

We encourage the involvement of parents and community members as volunteers to enrich students’ education.  This has allowed us to have extra practice in foreign language, music and song writing, animal husbandry, and early mechanical engineering.

At A Child’s Garden Montessori, children are able to thrive in an environment which encourages independent work, respects their opinions, and allows them to master their skills as leaders amongst their peers.
