• Ordinances, tax abatement, mooring fees to be voted on at Stonington town meeting (theday.com) — Stonington residents will soon vote on several town ordinances, tax relief for Avalonia Land Conservancy, and higher mooring fees at a special town meeting on Sept. 10 at Stonington High School. The proposals include stricter snow removal rules, clearer emergency parking bans, a new peddler ordinance, and releasing an unused pedestrian easement, with full details posted on the town website.
