What & Why?
Brake pads, linings & rotors make up your car's brake system and they are housed next to each wheel. They push against one another to create friction, stopping your car.
There are two kinds of brake systems: disc brakes and drum brakes and brake parts are expected to wear out. Depending on how worn out will determine the need for replacement. Regular service will check all of these components for wear & tear and other potential brake issues.
What happens if I don't do this?
If you neglect your brake system, they will ultimately fail. And, you will cause damage to other, more expensive parts like rotors, drums & calipers in the process.
