12 Injured After 2 Minivans Collide In Stratford: Police

STRATFORD, CT — A dozen people were injured, many severely, after two minivans collided Saturday in Stratford, according to police. The crash happened just after noon on Main Street near Putney, Stratford police stated. The 12 victims were taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center and Bridgeport Hospital, according to police.

"Many of the injuries are severe," Capt. Frank Eannotti stated in an email. "The scene is still active and under investigation."

Law enforcement expect to release more information Sunday.
