162 DVDs Stolen From Stratford Library, Couple Charged: Report
Police say the woman took her shirt off as an apparent distraction while the man stuffed DVDs into a bag, according to a report.

STRATFORD, CT — A Seymour couple is accused of stealing 162 DVDs from the Stratford Public Library in an apparent distraction theft, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports Leonard Charbonneau, 32, and Carly Maurer, 30, were both arrested in connection to the incident in which police say Maurer took off her shirt as an apparent distraction while Charbonneau stuffed DVDs from the teen section into a bag. They then quickly left the library
Charbonneau was eventually located and admitted to police that he stole DVDs, but claimed he only took 30 and said Maurer was unaware of what he was doing, according to the Post.
