Former Coach Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Student: Stratford Police

A former coach has been arrested following an investigation into the reported sexual assault of a student, according to police.

STRATFORD, CT — A former Stratford High School wrestling coach is accused of sexually assaulting a student, according to police.

A now 20-year-old woman reported to police on May 12 that she was the victim of sexual assault when she was a student at Stratford High School, according to Capt. Jerry Pinto.

Pinto said an investigation led to the arrest of Jordan Miron on Monday.

Miron, 36, was charged with second-degree sexual assault. He was being held in lieu of a $150,000 bond with a court date of May 19.
