STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Day Main Street Festival will be held rain or shine on Saturday, June 6, according to organizers.
Described by organizers as “one of Stratford’s biggest community celebrations,” the event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., “transforming Main Street into a vibrant destination filled with family fun, local businesses, entertainment, food, and community spirit,” according to a news release.
“Whether you're looking to shop, eat, stroll, or simply enjoy a day with family and friends, come check out the Stratford Day Main Street Festival this Saturday,” Mayor David Chess said. “With nearly 300 vendors attending, the event offers something for everyone and is a fantastic way to connect with the community, discover new businesses, and enjoy live entertainment together.”

Presented by The Milford Bank and the Rotary Club of Stratford, the annual festival stretches along Main Street from Stratford Center to Stratford Avenue. It showcases everything that makes Stratford a great place to live, work, and visit.
Stratford Day brings together nearly 300 vendors, including local businesses, nonprofit organizations, artisans, food trucks, and community groups. The festival provides residents and visitors with the opportunity to discover local services, support small businesses, connect with community organizations, and enjoy a day of entertainment for all ages.

New for 2026, festivalgoers can participate in a colorful chalk art display. For those over 21, a beer garden area will be set up.
Residents are encouraged to plan ahead, as Main Street will be closed from Church Street to Stratford Avenue beginning at 7 a.m. on June 6 to accommodate festival activities.
