2 Stratford Residents Win Big Lottery Prizes

STRATFORD, CT — Two Stratford residents recently won a combined $85,000 in lottery prizes, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

One of the residents won $25,000 on an America 250 Connecticut scratch ticket that was sold at Bashir & Sons Stratford LLC at 2000 Barnum Avenue in Stratford, according to lottery officials.

Another resident won $60,000 on a KENO ticket that was sold at Daybreak Donuts at 941 Madison Avenue in Bridgeport.

The CT Lottery no longer publishes winners' names without their written consent in accordance with a new Connecticut law, which was effective Oct. 1, 2025.
